HART’S LOCATION — On Sunday at around 2 p.m., New Hampshire Fish and Game was notified that a hiker was injured on the Arethusa Falls Trail. The hiker was identified as Ian Ramsay, 68, of Beaconsfield, Quebec.

Ransay was hiking alone when he injured his hip a short distance from the falls. He was unable to bear weight on his injured leg. There is little or no cell service in the area, but passing hikers were able to place a call for help. Ramsay was nearly 1.5 miles from the trailhead.
