FRYEBURG — Mountain View Direct Care (MVDC), LLC has announced an exciting change in their practice. While MVDC continues to function first and foremost as a direct primary care office, the practice is opening its doors to non-members for one-time visits. These visits are for walk-in type needs including but not limited to: cold/flu symptoms, medication refills, laceration repairs, UTI symptoms, sports physicals, skin infections, and insect bites.Â
Patients are required to call the office prior to visiting. This allows medical staff the opportunity to triage the patient’s needs and ensure a walk-in is appropriate. This helps prevent the patient from wasting potentially valuable time in an emergency coming to the office instead of going directly to an emergency room.
