OSSIPEE — Lawmakers Friday heard various proposals for the land at the county farm, which included defending the blueberry patch from birds with lasers, to adding recreation trails in the woods.

The county farm advisory committee is made up of former state Rep. Mark McConkey (R-Freedom), Carroll County Commissioner Amanda Bevard (R-Wolfeboro), Dale Drew of Conway (chairman), Sandra Brocaar of Madison, Susan Gaudette of Wakefield, Georgene Sellinger of Wolfeboro and delegation chair Edie DesMarais (D-Wolfeboro).
