CONWAY — Former state Senate President Jeb Bradley said he does not believe New Hampshire’s Medicaid expansion is in immediate danger despite renewed national debate over federal funding and health-care subsidies.
In an interview with SunTV, on Nov. 19, Bradley said the state’s expansion program — which covers roughly 60,000 low-income residents — remains secure under the federal “big, beautiful bill,” as he referred to the recent tax and budget package passed by Congress. He noted the law preserved the 90–10 federal matching rate that New Hampshire requires to keep its program in place.
