With the opening of trout fishing season today, along with the fishermen wading into New Hampshire's rivers and streams, more and more female anglers are joining them.

“It is no longer just a man’s world out there,” says Kim Proulx, coordinator for N.H. Fish and Game’s "Becoming an Outdoor Woman" programs and fly-tying classes.
