WAKEFIELD — After a determination by the New Hampshire State Medical Examiner that the cause of death for Valerie Goldstein, age 22, Violet Goldstein, age 19, and Matthew Goldstein, 52, all of Newton, Mass., was carbon monoxide poisoning, investigators have now determined that a faulty propane heater at a home at 2962 Province Lake Road in Wakefield led to the release of carbon monoxide gas.

Their manner of death and the cause of death for Lyla Goldstein, 54, also of Newton, Mass., remain pending.
