JACKSON — Florida Gov. Ro DeSantis seems destined never to see the iconic Honeymoon Covered Bridge in Jackson. For the second time in a month, the Republican presidential hopeful canceled a planned morning town hall event at the Red Fox Bar and Grille, which sits on Route 16 directly across from the bridge.
After saying he was coming, DeSantis' campaign announced the cancellation Tuesday night, citing Winter Storm Heather, which dumped about 6 inches of snow on the Granite State that day.
