CONWAY — A briefing about new technology at last week’s state primary was given by Town Clerk Louise Inkell to Selectmen Tuesday.
This year, election workers in Conway, Bartlett, Jackson and Ossipee had Poll Pads that signed voters in electronically rather than with alphabetical check-in books. Volunteers later checked those electronic records against the printed books. Conway also used two new VotingWorks machines to help count ballots and even identify write-in candidates.
