CONWAY — Selectmen agreed to lower the speed limit on Kearsarge Road in North Conway after hearing from a couple who complained about speeding on Sept. 3. New 30 mph signs are already up along the 2-mile-long road.

Peter Donohoe and M. Lynn Lyman have lived in their Kearsarge home for 27 years. Lyman, a commissioner of the Kearsarge Lighting Precinct, grew up in Kearsarge. Donohoe is treasurer of the precinct and chairs the Municipal Budget Committee.
