Gene Chandler named Fish and Game commissioner

BARTLETT — Former N.H. Speaker of the House Gene Chandler (R-Bartlett) has been appointed to the state Fish and Game Commission to represent Carroll County. The Executive Council unanimously confirmed Chandler’s nomination, which was recommended by Gov. Chris Sununu, at its meeting on Oct. 16 in Meredith.

“I’m looking forward to it,” Chandler said by phone on Friday.
