CONWAY — After 14 years on the job, former North Conway Water Precinct Superintendent David Bernier is looking forward to retirement, though he calls the NCWP post the “best job I've ever had.”

Bernier, 60, was feted by more than 100 people, including town and precinct officials, at  a party at the Red Fox Bar and Grille in Jackson Wednesday night.
