BARTLETT — Attendees at last Thursday's Bartlett town meeting voted to support a $60,000 study to examine flooding on the Saco River, but a separate article to raise $200,000 for the purposes of doing flood repairs didn't garner enough votes to pass.

The topic of the Saco River sparked lengthy debate at the 3 1/2-hour meeting, which was attended by approximately 120 residents.
