BARTLETT — Never has being called in to see the principal felt as good as it did for the 27 second- and third-graders at Josiah Bartlett Elementary School on Tuesday. Thanks to a Boston-based benefactor, all were presented with brand-new mountain bikes.
Summoned to the school gymnasium, where they saw parents, grandparents and guardians, the young Bears weren’t quite sure why they were there.
