BARTLETT — When newly elected Bartlett School Board member Jay Calabro presented a warrant article at the March 4 annual school district meeting, seeking $176,000 to “send up to 10 percent of (Bartlett’s) high school students to Fryeburg Academy" next school year, it wasn't the first time the idea has been entertained.
Last April, former board member Scott Grant proposed offering the option to Bartlett families of high school students to attend Fryeburg Academy.
