LEBANON — Authorities on Thursday issued an update on the cause of an explosion that ripped through a Lebanon hotel early on Christmas Eve.
On Dec. 24 at 5:15 a.m., the Lebanon Fire Department responded to the Element Hotel at 25 Foot Hill Street in Lebanon for a report of a fire alarm activation. Shortly after crews entered the building, an explosion occurred, New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Paul J. Parisi and Lebanon Fire Chief Chris Christopoulos said in a statement.
