Breast cancer survivors hope their passion will inspire others to join the fight against breast cancer, as they unite at the inspirational kickoff for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. As the American Cancer Society's premier event to fight breast cancer, this noncompetitive 3.5-mile walk raises awareness and funds to provide hope for all people fighting this disease. The kickoff marks the start of the Making Strides event season in New Hampshire, where eight walks will be held on Sunday, Oct. 15.The kickoff will be held at Zip's Pub, Mount Cranmore, on Monday, August 21, at 5:30 p.m. This is a chance to speak with breast cancer survivors, American Cancer Society staff and committee volunteers.All team captains and anyone interested in forming or joining a team are invited to attend.
