CONWAY — Welcome to what promises to be a great stretch of unseasonably warm weather and clear skies, right through Tuesday, set against the backdrop of some "snoliage (snow on the summit of Mount Washington, with foliage in the foreground).

Local weather observer Ed Bergeron told weekend guy radio show host Rob Burbank on WMWV 93.5-FM's "Morning Weather Show" Friday that in addition to the two consecutive top-rated 50 centers that we had Thursday and Friday, we're in for several more. Meanwhile, as we reported, Mount Washington received 17 inches of snow earlier in the week, forcing the Obs crew to ride down the Cog Railway for a delayed shift change on Thursday rather than the usual trip down the Auto Road. The Auto Road is now cleared and open to the summit, a spokesman told us Friday.
