FRYEBURG — As any lover of history knows, cemeteries — along with libraries, museums and old houses — are full of stories.

Earlier this week, for example, in doing research for a story about two local “dough boys” who were killed in action in France during World War I, I visited their graves in two Fryeburg cemeteries.
