CONWAY — Were you here in the valley in 1984? Even if you weren’t, you’ll want to tune in to Valley Vision Channel 3 tonight at 8 p.m. for the rebroadcast of a “Days Gone By” show featuring the 40th anniversary of the April 1984 Spring Shampagne Stampede in North Conway Village (one of many fun, costumed stampedes held from 1981-91) and the 1984 Tuckerman GS Classic, held a week later and won by the now late Eric Pendleton.

All of the segments were filmed by longtime local videographer/producer Scott Verney. It was shown Monday and I happened to catch it and asked Bill if he could rebroadcast it tonight, which he said he would, given the 40th anniversary of both events.
