Spring featured a variety of inclement weather including plenty of snow and frigid temperatures. This week began with glorious blue skies gentle breezes and a promise of warm weather. On Wednesday, rain fell relentlessly, soaking the landscape and rejuvenating woodlands and gardens.
"Spring on the Farm" will be taking place at Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm on Saturday, April 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a celebration of life on a historic homestead with events and demonstrations by local farmers and artisans including equine foot care by Mark Albee and working steers shown by Carroll Clovers 4H Club. You will be able to view young animals, including lambs, kids, and baby chicks and look around the gardens. Fun filled activities will be ongoing throughout the event. Come along, bring the family and have a wonderful day out. For more information, call (603) 323-7591.
