The American Red Cross Blood Drive will be today, May 18, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Runnells Hall in Chocorua Village, sponsored by the Tamworth Congregational Church. Last week, I erroneously said the blood drive was at the Tamworth Congregational Church. Apologies.
Did you know that a delicious lunch is served at Runnells Hall for seniors and their driver/caregivers every Monday? It’s prepared at Ossipee Concerned Citizens and brought over by cook Kayleigh Sargent, who takes great pains to make sure that there is plenty of food and everyone is accommodated with special requests. This week, the menu featured lemon pepper fish, corn and potato puffs. On May 21, there will be a full turkey lunch with all the fixings, so plan to come. The suggested donation for seniors is $3. Enjoy great food and great company without leaving town.
