Mountain Top Music will be presenting Friends of Music, the seventh annual scholarship fund benefit, on Monday, Sept. 4, at the Wildcat Tavern. Enjoy an evening of music, food and merriment honoring the memory of music fans Harvey Baldwin and Bob Bramble with proceeds benefiting the Scholarship Fund of our community music school, Mountain Top Music Center.
The festivities start at 6 p.m. with a buffet dinner generously donated by the tavern and served from 6 to 8 p.m. Musician friends who will entertain include Jonathan Sarty, Don Walden, Ray Ryan and Craig Bryan. It was Sarty’s idea to pay tribute to Baldwin and Bramble, who were well-known in the valley as music appreciators and regular members of the audience at hoot night at the tavern.
