The Community Club of Freedom lasagna dinner night in honor of our member veterans was a success. Many thanks to the committee members who set the tables, built the lasagna and salads, served, cleaned dishes: Bill, Rich, Amy, Barbara, Carole, Claire, Diana, Janice, Judy, Paul, Lisa, Tanner and Jack Wheeler family team. A big thank you from cook Margie. And, of course, a giant thank you to Margie from the rest of us for her hours of planning, prepping, and cooking the delicious dinner.
Ring in the holidays Friday, Nov. 22, at the Freedom Village Store from 6 to 9 p.m. Maryann Hogan will be serving her famous, homemade soup (until supplies run out). Get a start on your holiday shopping with a variety of local homemade items and treat yourself for all your hard work shopping for loved ones.
