Distinguished military backgrounds stood out this past Saturday as Effingham’s candidates for State Rep, yours truly and Knute Ogren, along with Pat Pustell from Ossipee, attended our district event: Daylilies and Democrats in Brookfield. We three seek the three seats up for grabs in the New Hampshire House to represent Ossipee, Effingham, Wakefield and Brookfield. We met most candidates in all state races, for primary runoffs Sept. 11 and the general election on Nov. 6 when all voters get the same ballot: all candidates of all parties for each office.
