Well, despite the sleet on Tuesday night (I was already in Florida) and the snow on Friday evening (I came home Saturday), I was actually able to have four wonderful days in Palm Beach with the best of friends. I was a little bit surprised to see the snow on the lakes, but it is certainly melting. I tried to bring back some temperatures in the 80s, but I haven’t had much luck.
As you know by now, things will be a bit different at the Eaton Village Store this week, due to vacation, so lucky you will get to see me every day at the post office, patiently putting your mail up as always. Come in to say hello. The store will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. because of the post office, but you won’t be able to get a complete breakfast or lunch, so plan accordingly. Let’s watch the snow melt off the fields and the lake all week.
