ALBANY — Tin Mountain Conservation Center will be presenting the eco-forum "Are All Lakes Created Equal?" on Thursday, Oct. 12, from noon to 1 p.m. at its Nature Learning Center in Albany.

New Hampshire is home to many lakes. The state’s Department of Environmental Services lists 944 lakes on their official list of public waters. Do all of these water bodies serve the same ecological functions? What about recreational value?
