Roy Alan Knight died suddenly Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at his home. He was born in South Hampton, Long Island, N.Y., on March 30, 1960, to Erlon H. and Elsa A. (Stoehr) Knight.

His family moved to Conway, N.H., in the fall of 1970 where he found his forever home. He graduated from Kennett High School in 1978 where he played football. He earned an associate's degree from Laconia Voc-tech in 1980 in internal combustion engines.
