Marcia Althea Buell Wells passed away March 8, 2017, in her home at Huntington Commons, Kennebunk, Maine.

Marcia was born March 3, 1921, to Marshall Spelman Buell Sr. and Hazel Ruth (McMillan) Buell in Orange, Mass. She graduated high school in 1939 in Orange, Mass., and nurses training at the Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain, Mass., in 1943. She entered the Army Nurse Corp in 1943 and after basic training was stationed at William Beaumont General Hospital in El Paso, Texas. It was there she met John Joseph Wells (Jack). They were married Nov. 25, 1944, in El Paso. She left the service as a 2nd Lieutenant.
