A bar stool gone empty. James Thomas O'Brien, a 20-plus year resident of North Conway, N.H., and originally from Charlestown, Mass., entered peacefully into eternal rest on May 8, 2022, his 69th birthday.

Upon James retirement, he moved to North Conway, where he quickly settled into making many new friends at his favorite May Kelly's Irish Cottage. James was a lover of a good cigar, which was enhanced when accompanied by a good pour of his favorite Irish libation.
