Though our lives eventually took different paths, the time we shared will always matter. We built a life together for a while, and that history doesn’t disappear. You were an important part of my life and of our family’s story. We shared good times and hard ones, and those experiences helped shape who we both became. Most of all, you were a good father to your son. You took that role seriously and showed up for him in ways that mattered. You cared deeply about his well‑being, his upbringing, and the kind of person he would grow into. The bond you shared was real and meaningful, and the love you had for him was clear. That connection will continue to shape his life. You also made meaningful contributions to our local community. Through your work, your involvement, and your willingness to help when needed, you played a part in the lives around you.You were many things to many people—a father, a friend, a son—and those roles mattered. I’m grateful for what we shared and for the lessons that came from it.You will be remembered, and you will not be forgotten.May you rest in peace.
