Benjamin Russell Greene died on Dec. 1, 2025, at the age of 90. He was born on Aug. 8, 1935, at Memorial Hospital in North Conway and graduated from Newton High School in Massachusetts in 1952, spending his childhood summers at Overlook cottage in Jackson, N.H.

After nearly three years at Brown University, Ben left Rhode Island for self-discovery — hiking the White Mountains, building houses in Barnstable, sailing in Rhode Island and crisscrossing the country.
