CONWAY — A love of the mountains and outdoor recreation is bringing two new general surgeons to the Mount Washington Valley community and Memorial Hospital’s surgical services. Christopher Marvelli, MD and Kelly Bishop-Bartolomei, MD, FACS are joining Drs. Robert Tilney and Stuart Battles in the hospital’s general surgery practice beginning the week of Feb. 10. They have relocated from Northampton, Mass., where they worked together at the Cooley Dickinson Physician Associates group.
Dr. Raymond Rabideau, Memorial’s medical director, says the recruitment of two experienced general surgeons from the same practice brings many benefits. “It helps insure compatibility among the providers, and they will be able to blend seamlessly into an already well established practice,” he said. “This supports our goal of providing a full team approach to integrated surgical care.”
