Leah Hamlin, Shelly Gallante, Nicole Veilleux and Katie Perkins were recently selected as Kennett High School's "Key Clubbers of the Month for February". Each of these Key Club members had perfect attendance at meetings during February, volunteered several hours of community service through Key Club activities and exemplified the Key Club motto of "caring, our way of life."Hamlin is freshman class representative for the club's board of directors. She was cited for her volunteerism with Mount Washington Valley Winter Carnival, Read and lead, Valentines activities at Kennett and visiting Kingswood's Key Club. Gallante is a sophomore and was cited for her numerous Key Club volunteer efforts during February, which included Sunbridge Health Care, Winter Carnival, Valentines activities and visiting other Key Clubs and Kiwanis. Veilleux is a junior and the club's vice president elect (for next year). She was cited for her many efforts at charity fund raising and community service during February, including Key Club's silent auction, Valentine's dance and collecting school supplies to send to needy children in Sierra Leone. Perkins is a senior and has been very active in helping with clean up at Dinner Bell throughout the school year.
