MANCHESTER — On Monday, Dec. 3, Manchester VA Medical Center held a groundbreaking for construction of a new facility to support expansion plans slatted for the VA Somersworth Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Somersworth.
“Almost 3,000 veterans receive care at the VA Somersworth CBOC accounting for approximately 7,800 appointments annually,” said Alfred Montoya, director of Manchester VA Medical Center. “The expanded space in Somersworth will allow for additional access to care, and an overall modernization of space and services for Granite State Veterans in the Seacoast area. We are a new VA, and encourage Veterans who are not yet receiving their care from Manchester VA to give us a try.”
