CONCORD — Every day the population in New Hampshire grows older, frailer and more isolated.

Since 1974, the Senior Companion Program of New Hampshire has combatted the social isolation of seniors, providing much needed companionship, transportation and respite for caregivers. In 2018 alone, 75 senior companions throughout the state provided an impressive 53,239 hours to 457 New Hampshire seniors.
