PLYMOUTH — Plymouth State University presented 34 third-year nursing students with engraved Littmann double-sided stethoscopes in a ceremony on Monday, Aug. 26 to mark the students’ transition to clinical practice.

“We are incredibly proud of our nursing students as they take this important step toward their clinical practice,” said Plymouth State Nursing Program Director Donna Driscoll, DNP. “The stethoscope ceremony is a meaningful tradition that symbolizes the students’ dedication to patient care. It also ensures every student is equally equipped to enter this next, hands-on phase of their training, regardless of their financial situation.”
