CONWAY — Wayne Grenier, assistant general manager of Indian Mound Golf Club, recently organized a fundraiser at Indian Mound Golf Club in Center Ossipee that raised $1,300 to support dementia care for guests of Mount Washington Valley Adult Day Center. The donation is the start of a scholarship fund that will assist those unable to pay for services provided at the Adult Day Center.

“We set rates to be affordable at $75 for a 5-hour visit and $12 for each additional hour. Medicaid, VA, long-term care insurance and private pay options are available but still some without insurance may struggle to pay so we wanted to start to build a scholarship fund for those who need assistance,” said Sue Ruka, Memorial Hospital’s director of elder health services and population health.
