SCARBOROUGH, Maine — To help prepare communities ahead of peak flu season, Hannaford is now offering flu shots at its in-store pharmacies in Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts and Vermont.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends everyone 6 months and older receive their flu shot annually, with September and October being the ideal months for vaccination.
