GLEN — Saco River Medical Group will sponsor a free talk on ski injuries by Dr. Jeff Kauffman, an orthopedic surgeon from The Alpine Clinic, on Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m. in Saco River Medical Group’s Glen office. Kauffman’s talk will focus on orthopedic skiing injuries, and is geared toward ski patrollers in the valley.  He will show how to assess for orthopedic injuries on the mountain. Kauffman will go over how to perform a good shoulder, knee, and wrist exam since these are the parts of the body that are most commonly injured in ski accidents.

All ski patrollers, health-care providers and EMS personnel are welcome to attend this free talk.  There will be pizza provided.
