It’s road tripping time, and last week I had an uplifting one through the western White Mountains to visit places I hadn’t skied for a few years. In addition to skiing Waterville Valley, Loon and Cannon and I also visited Plymouth’s Museum of the White Mountains.

I was looking to shake things up, and instead of staying along Route 3 in Lincoln with its myriad of hotels, I stuck with my Bonvoy membership for a Fairfield Inn in Plymouth and its convenience to amenities and I-93. An added plus was seeing World Pro Ski Tour athletes at breakfast competing at nearby Tenney. Who knew?
