TAMWORTH — Something spooky — and historical — is brewing this fall in the unsuspecting village of Tamworth. Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm is thrilled to announce the return of "Haunted History with the Drs. Remick: Eerie Medicine & Spooky Tales," a spine-chilling fall tour experience on Thursdays at 2 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays at 2 and 6 p.m., Oct. 1-31 (no evening tour on Saturday, Oct. 31: Halloween).
If you like your history laced with a dose of authentic fright, this is your opportunity for a unique October outing. Guests will join a costumed guide for a journey through the preserved medical offices within the stately Capt. Enoch Remick House, five distinct rooms once used by two generations of father-and-son country doctors, Dr. Edwin Remick and Dr. Edwin C. Remick, who served the local community for a combined 99 years.
