CONWAY — Can’t is a word not in teacher Kelley Murphy’s vocabulary. After six of her MWV Career and Technical Center students from Kennett High School qualified for the Education Risers National Championships in March, four of the Eagles were actually able to go to Educators Rising National Conference in Dallas, June 21-25, but there was just one hurdle — money.

The cost for Megan Martin, Danielle Solomon, Kelly Cryan and Gracey Murphy along with Murphy and fellow chaperone Laurel Zengilowski is over $6,000 for airfare, car rental and lodgings. Twelve weeks and $6,000, no problem.
