Aldore E. Tetreault, 77, of Mendon, Mass., died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, in the Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Newton. He was the wife of Pauline A. (Leclaire) Tetreault. Mr. Tetreault was president and owner of Aldore Tetreault & Sons, Inc., in Mendon, established in 1960. In his early years, he was employed at Norman Rogers Co. in Mendon.Mr. Tetreault was born Dec. 6, 1927, in Mendon, the son of the late F. Louis and Maria (Benoit) Tetreault, and was a lifelong resident of Mendon. He attended Mendon schools and St. Mary's High School in Milford, Mass.Mr. and Mrs. Tetreault observed their 54th wedding anniversary on Oct. 7, 2004.Mr. Tetreault was a member of St. Michael's Parish, the Roger L. Wood, American Legion Post 355, both of Mendon and the North Pole, Ak., Moose Lodge 306. He was a former member of the Mendon Fire Department nad the Mendonham Chapter, Brothers of the Bush. Mr. Tetreault supported the Mendon Parks Department and the senior center. He helped four of his grandsons to become Eagle Scouts. Mr. Tetreault's family meant everything to him.In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Dennis and his wife, Diane Tetreault, Michael and his wife, Renee Tetreault, Alan and his wife, Phyllis Tetreault, all of Mendon, and Lionel Tetreault and his friend Michael Eaton of North Conway; one daughter, Susan Tetreault and her husband, Richard, of Mendon; one brother, Victor Tetreault of Mendon; six sisters, Noella Cederholm of Hopedale, Mass., Gertrude Leclaire and Agnes Deluca, both of Mendon, Beatrice Wood of South Carolina, Eva Jennings of Mississippi, and Louise Jennings of Connecticut; 12 grandchildren, including Jason and his wife, Jovanna Tetreault, of Hopedale, Jody and her husband, David Kurezy, of Mendon, Joel and his wife, Adrienne Tetreault, of Haskins, Ohio, Steven Tetreault of Concord, David Tetreault of Conway, Thomas D'Alio, Jacob D'Alio, Michaela Tetreault, Joshua and his wife, Stephanie Tetreault, Nathan Tetreault, Alan Tetreault Jr., and Brian Tetreault, all of Mendon; two step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Leo Tetreault, and three sisters, Edwina Lamothe and Teresa Tycks, both of Mendon, and Rita Kopeski of Millis, Mass.Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, from the Buma Sargeant Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, North Avenue, Mendon.Interment will follow in Swan Dale Cemetery, Cemetery Street, Mendon. Visiting hours will be Friday, Jan. 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Buma Sargeant Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's Church, c/o Building Fund, 29 North Ave., Mendon, MA 01756.
