TAMWORTH — Firefighters from Tamworth, Center Ossipee, West Ossipee and Conway were thanked by innkeepers for responding to a chimney fire at the Farmstand Bed and Breakfast in Chocorua Wednesday morning.

“Tamworth was first on the scene and then the Center Ossipee department guys really did a bang-up job,” innkeeper Kimball Packard said Wednesday.
