BRIDGTON, Maine — On Nov. 2, the red Nathan Church House was moved 3,500 feet to its new location in the heart of downtown Bridgton. The house served as the museum headquarters until this year. Now sitting next to the Webb House, the Rufus Porter Museum’s new headquarters, creating the museum campus. The two buildings combined will create a larger space for the museum to expand programing and exhibits that reflect Porter’s diverse genius in the arts and science.

The Kendal C. and Anna Ham Charitable Foundation contributed to the project by creating a challenge matching grant of $38,000. The challenge has been met but the On the Move campaign continues.
