When I was in elementary and middle school, as we called it in suburban Boston, the Bookmobile would come around on occasion.

It was always special to climb up into that bookstore-on-wheels with some extra spending money from home and pick out a book of interest rather than the usual school-issued, paper-bag-wrapped (remember brown paper bags?) textbook.
