TD Bank asks workers to do advance directives

CONWAY — North Conway area TD Bank branches joined forces to help spread the word about the importance of advance care planning, encouraging the completion of advance directives by their employees. With the help of a certified advance care planning facilitator, TD Bank employees were recently given the opportunity to complete their own directives while at work.

Recognizing the benefit of having employees better prepared for medical emergencies within their families, TD Bank invited a certified advance care planning facilitator to staff meetings to better inform their employees and promote the value of advance directives. An advance directive is a legal document outlining an individual’s end-of-life preferences and document their health care choices, and appoint someone who can speak for them in the event an accident or illness prevents them from speaking for themselves.
