CONWAY — Family-owned outdoor and leisure clothing company Regatta Great Outdoors has opened its first U.S. retail store at Settlers Green Streetside in North Conway. Company chairman and CEO Keith Black was on hand for the official ribbon cutting on July 11.
Regatta Great Outdoors is a UK-based outdoor clothing company that was founded in 1981 by Keith’s father, Lionel Black. Keith along with his sister, Joanne, the company’s buying director, operate the company, which employs over 1,400 people. The company has acquired other popular UK brands over the years, including Craghoppers and Hawkshead.
