MADISON — The Hoyt family, owners of Danforth Bay Camping and RV Resort, Purity Spring Resort, Traditions Restaurant, Camp Tohkomeupog and King Pine Ski Area, recently announced the promotion of Amanda Buswell to regional general manager, a newly expanded role that places her at the helm of strategic operations and planning across the entire portfolio of properties.
Buswell, who was named general manager of Danforth Bay in 2024, brings over 23 years of experience with the Hoyt family businesses, having started her career as a summer housekeeper and working her way through nearly every department. Her steady rise, fueled by a strong work ethic, operational knowledge, and deep understanding of guest service, has positioned her as a respected and forward-thinking leader within the organization.
