OSSIPEE — The Ossipee Public Library recently received the Sustainable & Resilient New England Libraries Grant from the Association for Small and Rural Libraries and Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities grant from the American Library Association.

The original library building was built in 1939, thanks to a significant donation from local surveyor Frank S. Lord, as well as a deeded roadway from the Lattie family. The addition was erected in the 1990s, which significantly increased the library space.
